The Ethic of Zero Growth

Show Details

An examination of a new ethos for the new millennium, a cure for our addiction to growth based on what might be called "ecostasis" - living in balance with our environment. The philosophy is grounded in the fact that we live on a finite sphere with finite resources to sustain us. Population stablization is a necessary part of the philosophy, but the emphasis in this treatise is on economic growth and the catastrophe it is leading us to.
