Grammy Award winning Harmonicist Howard Levy and Chinese Sheng virtuoso Hu Jianbing combine their considerable talents in this magical evening of traditional Chinese music, original compositions and contemporary jazz. Presented courtesy of the MTSU Center for Chinese Music and Culture, Dr. Mei Han director, the concert was performed October 15th, 2018 in the T. Earl Hinton Music Hall on the Middle Tennessee State University campus. Jazz ensemble Béla Fleck and the Flecktones co-founder Levy, and onetime Central Chinese National Orchestra artist Hu, merge their instruments into marvelous Chinese+Jazz music magic.
