Bryan, the Ambassador to the fans, (Star Trek fans), Lili, and Rogg conclude their two-part interview with actress Rachael Ancheril.
Rachael, who is well known worldwide as the Star Trek: Discovery Nhan actress, discusses the possibility of going to her first Star Trek convention in Las Vegas this year. Rachael continues with a big thank you to all the “Trekkies” for what she calls the 99.9% kindness and love from Star Trek fans. Rachael, conveys that she believes her character Nhan’s closet in her quarters must take up half of it on “Discovery’s ship as she’s been through so many wardrobes looks “She’s a Clothes horse”, when returning to Discovery for her latest episode “Rubicon” in 2022, Rachael points out that she went in for her wardrobe fitting, and that the wardrobe department is "So good to me", continuing with a story in regards to seeing her gray jumpsuit change for her latest costume. Moreover, Rachael references how she spoke to "Gersha" (Gersha Phillips, Series Costume Designer) stating "What about the skant, can we do the skant again?" as opposed to this new super tight jumpsuit after coming off the COVID Quarantine 15".
The interview discussion shifts away from Star Trek to photography. Rachael discusses how “it’s been 15 minutes and it’s my turn” in regard to using her new SLR camera with her spouse, then their need for a second camera after a honeymoon.
The specifics into her background, growing up on a farm, and being around horses are shared as well as host Bryan Kreutz, sharing with Rachael that his daughter is also a horse lover often volunteering on horse ranches in California and studying to be a veterinarian.. “From one horse lover to another”. Rachael supports the Canadian Horse Defense Coalition specifically that there is also her love and shout outs to charities she supports such as Animal Justice, Toronto Wildlife Centre, and The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Rachael shows that she is wearing the “The Sheldrick shirt” for the interview.
The Star Trek Discovery discussion continues when Rachael is asked about her favorite scene by animated android Rogg, Rachael’s favorite moment she references is literally her first appearance on Star Trek Discovery when she’s in the turbolift taping a scene during late hours. Rachael describes her favorite scenes as characters Linus and Captain Pike among others are together, and how Linus is supposed to sneeze with alien juices, he spits his teeth out accidently. Bryan then get’s stoked recalling that moment within Discovery on how it was “So Cool, captain Pike brings his own security on board and she (Rachael Ancheril as Nhan), is a Red shirt, is she going to die?” …and she didn’t. Rachael shares in the moment and they all have a laugh over this memorable scene, which was marketed very early to audiences well before the full episode was released.
