A has-been rock star hosts horror films in his haunted mansion. The mansion residents watch “Pretty Poison” from 1968. Set in small-town America, this 1968 psychological drama follows a troubled young man recently released from a mental institution who strikes up a relationship with a seemingly innocent high school girl. As their bond deepens, he spins elaborate fantasies about being a government agent. What begins as playful role-play gradually drifts into criminal behavior, and the consequences become chillingly real.
